Abstract

The development of investment in Indonesia shows positive growth. This is inseparable from the role of the capital market as financial marketplace that supports the economy and connects companies with investors. The company will receive funds, while investors will receive a rate of return on investment. Many researches only examine the effect on financial ratios without comparing new policies. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of financial ratios on stock prices in mining. This comparative causal research uses a sample of mining sector companies listed on the IDX from 2018 to 2024 and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that financial ratios have an effect on stock prices. Investors will choose to invest in companies based on financial ratio calculations so that investor can make profitable decisions.
